Glossary
Acute angle:
An angle that is less than 90°.
Congruent:
Having the same size and shape.
Equilateral triangle:
A triangle with three sides of equal length. An equilateral triangle also has three congruent angles.
Isosceles triangle:
A triangle with at least two sides of equal length (congruent). An isosceles triangle also has congruent angles.
Obtuse angle:
An angle that is greater than 90°.
Orbit:
A path that a body takes while circling another.
Scalene triangle:
Triangles that have no congruent angles. The angles all have different measures.
