The robotic micro-conical tool allows Dextre to grasp fixtures that are different from the ones that it was designed to work with. This too is pretty handy and gives Dextre much more flexibility than it was designed for. In fact, the tool is so useful that Dextre actually carries two of them.

A socket extension tool extends the length of the socket that Dextre has inside each of its grippers.

The Robotic off-set tool gives Dextre access to grasp points that he would normally have trouble reaching.
