Photometric Array Camera and Spectrometer (PACS)

PACS is a camera with a low- to medium-resolution spectrometer. This instrument makes it possible to probe a small area of the sky. It is also possible to take photos in three different colours with PACS. The Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics is leading the consortium for PACS.
